POWERTRON manufactures the complete range of programmable HVDC power supply systems in India, delivering regulated high voltage DC output from 500W to 8kW as standard and up to 50kW on customised builds. Output is continuously adjustable from +1000V to +50kV, with matched negative-polarity models from −1000V to −50kV, so a single design platform covers laboratory, production-test and plant-level requirements. Every unit combines digital set-point control, ripple held to 0.05% FS, hardware soft-start with no startup overshoot, and a complete protection stack — making it suited to insulation and withstand testing, capacitor charging, X-ray and electron-beam systems, semiconductor process tools, electrostatic applications and EV component validation. Designed, wound, assembled and load-tested in-house at the company’s Wagle Estate facility in Thane, Maharashtra, POWERTRON HVDC supplies serve customers across India and export markets including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Key Features of POWERTRON Programmable HVDC Power Supplies :

  • Wide output coverage in one platform — 500W to 8kW standard with customised builds to 50kW, and voltage from +1000V to +50kV, so a single vendor and a single control philosophy covers every bench and plant requirement on site.
  • Positive and negative polarity models — matched N-suffix variants from −1000V to −50kV remove the need to source a second supply from a different manufacturer when the application reverses polarity.
  • Low ripple, high stability — ripple held to ≤0.05% FS on lower-voltage models and ≤0.1% FS across the range, giving clean DC for detectors, imaging chains and precision measurement where noise corrupts the result.
  • No overshoot at startup — soft-start implemented in hardware rather than firmware alone, so a fragile DUT or a capacitor bank never sees a transient while the control loop is still settling.
  • Software-adjustable voltage rise time — ramp rates can be matched to the IEC and IS withstand procedures your test standard specifies, instead of forcing the procedure to fit the equipment.
  • List Mode and Auto Run — a complete multi-step conditioning or withstand routine runs from a single trigger, and repeats automatically at power-up for unattended burn-in and overnight soak testing.
  • Preset with output open-circuit — voltage and current can be dialled in and verified before high voltage is ever applied to the load, removing the most common operator error in HV testing.
  • Multi-layer protection — OVP, OTP, AC-fail detection and programmable current limit act together as both a compliance setting and an arc-energy limiter.
  • Standard Modbus-RTU over RS232 and RS485 — the supply drops into an existing PLC, SCADA or LabVIEW rig without a custom driver being written.
  • Optional analog and LAN interfaces — 0–5V, 0–10V or 4–20mA command and feedback for legacy control loops, or LAN for Ethernet-based ATE and remote monitoring.
